We all had an individual tutorial with Sian On Monday(2 DEC) to catch up with our project. during my tutorial with her I talked about all the things that I’ve don so far and Sian talked about the model release form and licensing agreement form, and how much is important in my project as I’m using models and clients photos on my website,brochure,flyer…and if they are not sign the form they can request for removing their picture at any time.I know it is essential for my project as I’ve had this experience recently. I had a model for my last year project,I had explained for her that I will use your images on my portfolio and probably on my website .She was absolutely agree but I made another mistake(As I previously posted about the most common mistakes that all photographers done ). I didn’t ask her to sign a release form as I thought we spoke about it and it would be fine.
A few days ago she sent me an email and asked me to remove her pictures from my face book page.I have no clue why she has changed her mind and it wasn’t fair as she didn’t pay me for that session and It was free just because I wanted to use them for my project.Well I removed her pictures.
Never mind, I did submit my project and get distinction for that.But just thought If I had a signed release form she couldn’t change her mind and forgot all my rights that easily.
Anyway I have already provided a release form, but I will probably use the form that Sian has sent me.(I feel Sian’s form is much clear and better than mine) I will arrange preview sessions in next 2 weeks for my clients As their edited pictures will be ready in a few days ,then I will ask them to sign the release form.
Also Sian asked all of us to present our prototype product and progress of our project to the whole class.Oh dear that is terrible.I don’t like presentation and really struggling with that.Simply when I think about it,I wanna cry…!!!
As it is compulsory It would be a good challenge for me to push my self .But I’m so nervous and feel stressed!!! I’m thinking a bout the way that I will present, I think making a Power Point would be better way and make the presentation easier and also it is more organise. I can make sure every thing has been listed.
